Kennesaw Elementary School Reviews

KES is amazing. My daughter is in KG and has 12 kids in her class with 2 techers. You don't find that kind of balance even at a private school. My daughter's teacher is very warm and friendly. The kids love her. I am glad to be at KES.

The quality of teachers at Kennesaw Elementary is outstanding. They go above and beyond, day in and day out. This is a K-2 school only and everything is geared to that age range. The Media Center program is amazing and the 'Specialists' (PE, Art, Music, Spanish, and Computer technology) provide exciting and challenging instruction for the young ones. The PTSA is heavily involved and helps provide extra benefits for the students, staff, and the community. Ask anyone in the surrounding area what they know about this school and you will hear a plethora of positive comments and you will know why they have such an outstanding reputation.

What a wonderful school Kennesaw Elementary is! The administration works hard to keep the staff informed and educated on the latest teaching methods. My son is very happy to go to school and is motivated by his excellent teachers. Your family will not be disappointed with this gem of a school.

KES is a wonderful place to learn. My husband and I have had children enrolled at KES the past four years. The teachers are wonderful. We have found that the teachers at KES work diligently to differentiate instruction to meet all needs. Our children are learning the required standards, but are also being challenged! The administrative team is approachable and supportive. The school culture is positive and uplifting. We really do love KES.

Kennesaw Elementary is a warm and happy school. We have been sending our children here for several years and would recommend it to anyone looking for a positive, caring staff and high academic expectations. This K- 2 school offers after school art classes and a 2nd grade chorus that performs throughout the year. We have had some top notch teachers at Kennesaw, the kind that all others following are judged by. The administration is friendly and promotes a spirit of excellence.

I love Kennesaw Elementary! Mrs. Folsom is a wonderful and caring teacher.

The administrators and teachers are very supportive of the students at Kennesaw. My children look forward to going to school everyday since we moved into the district. I have had nothing but positive interactions with my child's teachers as well as the principal and both assistant principles. I would recommend Kennesaw to anyone considering moving into the district. Way to go Kennesaw!

In kindergarten we loved this school, but, now, two years later, we have many issues. There is way too much pressure put on the kids for testing, etc. No one cares about the individual child, just their test score. They now have all these new 'procedures' that the kids have to know. It is only K-2, can we really expect them to remain silent in the halls or face disciplinary measures? Some teachers still care, but, unfortunately, they are quickly approaching retirement.

High focus on academic quality. Very fast paced with lots of parent interaction. Great school with lots of extras.

I love having a child at KES but I feel like the administration is losing touch with the parents. The principal is never available and the AP is the same. The new ILT is great. The cafeteria ladies are no mean to the students. It is not a very friendly place. The media center and media specialist is fantastic. She runs a first class program. The school morale comes directly from the administration and it makes me so sad to see that it is very quickly declining.

I miss Kennesaw Elementary! My child went there for K-2 then HAD to go to Big Shanty because of the changes in the district. I hate Big Shanty and will be pulling my kid out and forking up the money for private school.

Kennesaw Elementary is absolutely the best elementary school in the area. The teachers are very motivated to help each and every child. Two of my children attended this school and they loved it. I truly do not think we could have found a better school for my children. They were both encouraged to do their best and challenged to learn more. What a great school!

Kennesaw Elementary is outstanding in all aspects, administration, teaching and parent support. They have a real feeling of a 'team' between admin, parents and teaching. All other Cobb Schools should view them as a model for excellance.

Kennesaw Elementary is a school of great teachers and staff. My youngest child is now attending which my oldest attended from grades 3-5, who is now in High School. Many of the teachers still remember him. This reflects how the teachers interact and get to know all their students. I'm very pleased with Kennesaw Elemetary, any parent should be proud of all of our accompliments.

The teachers and administration at Kennesaw are superb. They go out of their way to know your child and gear teaching to his or her needs. We have been at the school for 4 years and have had an excellent experience there. The parent involvement is also very high. The PTSA does a fantastic job organizing events and supporting the staff.
